Whatever you do with your life you will always get better results when you set some goals. And the same applies with losing fat. This is how to lose belly fat.
Giving yourself a goal means you have something to set your sights on. When There is a recognisable purpose attached to your diet and exercise you will more likely succeed.
Don’t fall prey to setting yourself targets that you cannot reach. When you don’t it can be disappointing and you can be more inclined to give up on your diet too early.
You can set a longer goal but you will also have to give yourself more short-term goals. These are where you are only looking to lose smaller amounts of weight in a certain time period.
Small targets, bit by bit, throw you forward as you drive to the final destination. Just watching the small bits of weight coming off means you can see a light at the end of the tunnel. You will also begin to believe that it is something that you can actually achieve.
Do not weigh yourself daily in relation to your mini goals we are talking about. This is not how to lose stomach fat. There can be changes from one day to another so a short-term goal should really be not less than about 2 weeks. The body will have time to accept the changes and you will be able to observe meaningful results.
A daily weighing system might show that you haven’t dropped any weight. Or in fact you may even weigh slightly more than the day prior if you hit the scales at a different time in the day or after you have had a meal.
2 weeks no measuring and stay with your weight loss program and you will get differing results. Don’t kick yourself in the teeth by allowing normal weight changes cloud the more important long-term goal.
